We both hate Brent Musburger.
LA Times: USC Signals Its Displeasure
The complaint here is that BM told American what signal Trojan QB John David Booty uses to tell his recievers to change their routes to "go" routes, given the coverage.
I agree with the outrage, but think that USC could easily come up with a new call.
Ironically, this is the second week in a row that that QB's "go" signal has been revealed during ESPN on ABC's Saturday Night Game Of The Week Brought To You By Taco Bell. During the tOSU/Texas game, Ted Ginn Jr caught a perfect pass from QB Troy Smith. Afterward, as they were showing replays, one of the commentators mentioned that Smith signaled for the change in pattern by rubbing his helmet.
Makes football exciting, but if it impacts the game, the it's a bad idea.
Like having Musburger in the broadcast booth in general.
