At least they're trying...

We here at the Musing have given our Illini friends some grief, and (recently) deservedly so.

However, I wanted to point out on their behalf that Coach Ron Zook is serious about this, and is working hard to emulate one of the great coaches of the Big T1e1n. You can see some of this in this video link- listen and look for the phrase "Coach Ron Zook is not happy..."

(This is from a NY newscast, so the Orange football team that they're talking about is Syracuse...don't get your hopes up)

That's a step in the right direction, but to truly be great it will need to look a lot more like this:

I guess Illinois fans should be greatful- if they had won more games and a couple of national championships and Zook did this, he'd be fired, right?
