Time again to start looking at the Coaching Carousel, especially given the big news of the past few days.

As a reminder, I'm interested in the hiring process mostly because I'd like to see if the NCAA can improve on their history of hiring minority candidates. Last season, we had seven African American head coaches at the 120 NCAA Division 1 schools, only one (Randy Shannon) was at a BCS Conference School.

Here's the current list- and we've got GREAT news! The first hire of this season was Memphis obtaining the services of LSU's Larry Porter.
